# The entity graph

> How Qoory connects projects, tokens, people, funds, news, and market signals.

Qoory's entity graph is the structured layer beneath search, profiles, rankings,
and reports. It represents an entity once, then connects that entity to the
relationships and observations that make it useful for research.

## Core entity types

## Why relationships matter

A keyword index can find documents that mention a name. An entity graph can
also answer structured questions such as which funds backed a project, which
people hold roles across related projects, or which news cluster belongs to a
specific token rather than another entity with the same symbol.

## Stable identity

Names, tickers, and social handles are not globally unique. Qoory assigns stable
entity identifiers and slugs, then connects aliases and relationships to that
identity. A relationship is added only when the system has enough evidence
to connect the records; unresolved accounts and ambiguous search results remain
separate.

## Missing relationships

The graph is continuously enriched and is not complete. A missing edge means
Qoory has not stored a sufficiently supported relationship. It does not prove
that the relationship does not exist.
