| Canonical story    | A Qoory news record that clusters related source articles into one story.                                        |
| Citation           | Source context linked to a specific claim or value.                                                              |
| Credit             | A unit used to meter research or Developer API work.                                                             |
| Entity             | A stable Qoory record such as a project, token, person, fund, X account, stock, event, news story, or narrative. |
| Entity graph       | The entities and stored relationships used by search, profiles, rankings, and reports.                           |
| Entity resolution  | Matching names, aliases, symbols, handles, links, and context to a stable entity.                                |
| Hot score          | A short-window momentum score based on several recent signals and project age.                                   |
| Hot tier           | A label such as viral, hot, rising, early, or watch derived from hot score and signal coverage.                  |
| MCP                | Model Context Protocol, used by supported AI clients to call Qoory tools through a remote server.                |
| Narrative          | A bounded representation of a developing social conversation, its actors, timeline, and evidence previews.       |
| Nullable field     | A field that can be unavailable rather than filled with a guessed or zero value.                                 |
| OpenAPI            | The machine-readable contract used to generate Qoory REST API reference pages.                                   |
| Project score      | A freshness-adjusted, multi-signal ranking score for general project relevance.                                  |
| Qoory Skill        | An agent instruction package that prefers Qoory MCP and can fall back to bounded REST operations.                |
| Resolver           | A bounded lookup that returns candidate entity identifiers and detail paths.                                     |
| Source observation | A value or record associated with the time and context in which it was collected.                                |
| TVL                | Total value locked, a DeFi metric whose definition and coverage can vary by source.                              |
| X account          | A public social account represented separately from a person or project until a supported link exists.           |
